Things about my favourite hobby Horse Riding

Horse Riding is a great outdoor hobby and activity. Its a very enjoyable sport and you can do competitions like Show Jumping,Dressage and Cross Country Events. Its great when the weather is fine because you could hop on to a pony a horse and can take off on a trek which a long walk.I just love Horses and Horse Riding its a great way to get out in to the fresh air and forget about everything for awhile.Horses and Ponies come in many different shapes and sizes.A Pony is any size below 14.2hh and a Horse is any size above 14.2hh.It would be better to keep a Pony as it is smaller in size and easier to feed.If you keep a pony in a stable for the winter you would have to muck out or clean out its stable every day.Make sure the Pony or Horse has clean water, hay every day and clean bedding like straw or shavings. The shavings would be a better idea rather than straw because straw can be very heavy to lift if it gets wet.

Events the year i was born

President of Ireland in Feb 1990

Patrick J Hillery
He was born on 2 May, 1923, in Miltown Malbay, Co. Clare and qualified as a medical doctor. He married Mary Beatrice Finnegan in 1955.
In 1951 Dr. Hillery was elected to Dáil Éireann for the constituency of Clare and he received his first Government appointment as Minister for Education in 1959.
He subsequently served in a number of ministerial posts (Industry and Commerce, Labour and Foreign Affairs) prior to his appointment in 1973 as Vice President of the then Commission of the European Communities, with special responsibility for Social Affairs. He served as Commissioner until 1976, when he was inaugurated as President of Ireland on 3 December, 1976.
He died on 12th April 2008.

Taoiseach  of Ireland in Feb 1990
Charles James "Charlie" Haughey (16 September 1925 – 13 June 2006) was Taoiseach of Ireland, serving three terms in office (from December 1979 to June 1981, March 1982 to December 1982, and March 1987 to February 1992).[1] He was also the fourth leader of Fianna Fáil (from 1979 until 1992). Haughey was first elected to Dáil Éireann as a Teachta Dála (TD) for Dublin North East in 1957, and was re-elected in each election until 1992. Haughey also served as Minister for Health and Social Welfare (1977–1979), Minister for Finance (1966–1970), Minister for Agriculture (1964–1966) and Minister for Justice (1961–1964). He also served as a Parliamentary Secretary during the early years of his parliamentary career.
Haughey is generally regarded as the dominant Irish politician of his generation as well as the most controversial. Upon entering government in the early 1960s, Haughey became the symbol of a new vanguard of Irish ministers, with a promising future in service to the Republic. As Taoiseach, he is credited by some economists as starting the positive transformation of the economy in the late 1980s. However, his career was also marked by several major scandals. Haughey was implicated in the Arms Crisis of 1970, which nearly destroyed his career. His political reputation revived, his tenure as Taoiseach was then damaged by the sensational GUBU Affair in 1982; his party leadership was challenged four times, each time unsuccessfully, earning Haughey the nickname "The Great Houdini." Revelations about his role in the Phone Tapping Scandal forced him to resign as Taoiseach and retire from politics in 1992.
Haughey remained controversial after his retirement, when a stream of revelations about his personal finances and lifestyle destroyed his reputation. Still mired in scandal, he died of prostate cancer in 2006 at the age of eighty.

No 1 song/album
Sinéad Marie Bernadette O'Connor ( /ʃɪˈneɪd oʊˈkɒnər/;[1] born 8 December 1966) is an Irish singer-songwriter. She rose to fame in the late 1980s with her debut album The Lion and the Cobra and achieved worldwide success in 1990 with a cover of the song "Nothing Compares 2 U".

Since then, she has occasionally encountered controversy, partly due to her forthright statements and gestures, ordination as a priest despite being female with a Roman Catholic background, and expressed strong views on organized religion, women's rights, war, and child abuse while still maintaining a singing career.

Her body of work includes a number of collaborations with other artists and appearances at charity fundraising concerts, in addition to her own solo album
